Yair Davidi is the author of Joseph and Ephraim (2001). He has also written The Tribes (1993), Lost Israelite Identity (1996), and numerous articles in the magazines Tribesman and Brit-AM. He lives in Jerusalem, Israel.

The Prophets predicted that the Lost tribes of Israel would be situated at the geographical extremities of Continental masses or isolated in islands of their own. Their major locations would be to the north and west of the Land of Israel. They would be seafarers, world powers, usually the most economically and physically blessed peoples of the world and extremely numerous. They would possess strategic thoroughfares. The Space Program is an aspect of this blessing. Ephraim dominates Britain and her daughters. Menasseh is preeminent in the USA.

The tribal names of peoples who settled in Britain and later in America were those of clans belonging to the Ancient Israelite Tribes of Ephraim and Menasseh, the sons of Joseph.

The Hebrew meaning of the name Ephraim connotes a system of aristocracy such as that prevailing in Britain. The meaning of Menasseh in Hebrew is Responsible Representation such as that practiced in the USA.

Rabbinical Tradition from an early date or based on very early sources described the Tribes of Joseph in the End Times. The descriptions can only fit Britain and North America.

Clans of Menasseh are traced to specific areas of the USA using historical-sociological analysis in the light of Biblical Commentary and tradition. The Israelites of North America will be redeemed before all the other Lost Tribes.

Joseph has an Approbation and an appendix by Rabbi Avraham Feld who explains the Biblical origins of the Oral Law. This is of the utmost importance and of great interest. It is highly pertinent to the clarification of the present day identity of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel.
