Letter from the Editor
August 2007
Shalom, Dear Family of Friends,
After the Apostle Peter wrote about the tremendous experience he had on
the Mount of Transfiguration, he stated, "We have a more sure
word of prophecy whereunto you do well to take heed, as unto a light that
shines in a dark place, until the day dawn and the day star arise in your
hearts." Then he went on to say, "Knowing this first, that no
prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation, for the
prophecy came not in old time by the will of man but holy men of God
spoke, as moved by the Holy Spirit" (I Peter 1:19-22).
Peter speaks of the Hebrew prophets and says they give an abundant
enlightenment for us until the end of this era. And notice he warns us to
"take heed". Why? Because that is the true light that shines in the
darkness, exposing evil. Though there may be modern "prophets" around us
who think they know more than these God-inspired-and-anointed passages in
the Bible, make the test and see if they give true light for living.
Perhaps we will write more on the subject later, but for now read "DDD" in
this publication. There are secular and religious "prophets" today making
false prediction of both judgment and peace. (For the full article by
Douglas King, e-mail him at

What I learn from the "holy men of God", about whom Peter wrote, is
that now is the time for restoration, spiritually and physically; a time
when we as believers must wake up and see the morning light. Why? Because
the LORD is going to bless all nations with His
Word-to-live-by-and-be-happy. Too simple? He said that "Wayfaring men,
though fools shall not err therein" (Isaiah 35:8). But mankind keeps
complicating it!
Good news: We have found a less expensive way to print our publications.
Now we expect to get it to you more often. This request: If you would
rather read the Bible Light on the News on our website (www.Bible-Light.com)
please let us know and send your email address to
Chris@Bible-Light.com for extra
newsletters - OR if you'd rather not receive it at all, please let
us know. We send the publication without charge but we are very grateful
to those who help us on BLI expenses. The Lord has been faithfully
supplying many years through hearts He touches. Also, if you would like
extra copies of Bible Light on the News to give to family
and friends, we'll be glad to send them to you - also at no charge.
A personal word: I expect to be in the States some months longer to take
advantage of opportunities to share here. When I do return to Israel, I
expect to be at Biblical Tamar Park and will report first-hand then on the
progress there which seems to be leaping forward.
May you be strengthened in your innermost being each new day by His Word
and abiding Spirit. I hope to hear from you soon about your welfare or
whatever you wish to share with me.
In His Love
& Care,
Chris Josephson
