Who Owns the Land?

 Greater
than International Law is the UNIVERSAL LAW BOOK which speaks the final
authority: “The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof; the world
and they that dwell therein” (Psalm 24:1).How? By right of creation:
“I have made the earth and created man upon it, I, even my hands, have
stretched out the heavens and all their hosts have I commanded” (the God
of Israel, Isaiah 45:12).
And here is an amazing declaration: “When
the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated
the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number
of the children of Israel” (Deut. 32:8).
When God gives us light, we must walk in
this light. And the more light God gives, the more responsibility we have.
When we have new light, we have new responsibility. If we will be obedient
to this responsibility, then God will shed more light upon us and add His
blessing to our former obedience regarding the light He had previously
promised. Please ponder this!
When God called Abram, He said, “Get out
of thy country and from your kindred and from your father’s house unto a
land that I will SHOW you.”
Abram obeyed and went to see the
Land, then an amazing thing happened. On arrival God gave him the
Everlasting Abrahamic Covenant with its 7 promises and said, “Unto your
seed will I GIVE this Land.” And a little later: “… Unto your seed
have I given this land from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the
river Euphrates” (Gen. 15:18).
Key to
Blessing is Possessing
The complete fulfillment of these promises
is contingent upon God’s people, Israel, being in and possessing the Land.
By virtue of the Abrahamic Covenant, only Israel has a Divine Title Deed to
the Land. But that’s not enough. They must POSSESS it by their presence in
the Land. Then they obtain the fullness of the blessing of the Covenant
promises, the greatest of which is the 7th and last one: “In
thee shall ALL the nations of the earth be blessed”.
Every time God has brought His people into
the Land, He has done an outstanding thing that blesses all the peoples of
the earth. This is why satanic forces are opposing the establishment of the
State of Israel and the ingathering of the Children of Israel from around
the world to the Land.
The FIRST time they came into the Land out
of Egypt and the wilderness, God raised up prophets and anointed them by His
Spirit to give the world the Word of God with the glorious promises of the
coming Redeemer.
The SECOND time when
Judah [from whence comes the word “Jews”] returned from the Babylonian
captivity, many of the prophecies of the coming Messiah were gloriously
fulfilled when Jesus was born in the Land. How we in the nations have been
blessed by the Word of God and the true Christ of God. Wherever the
Gospel of the Kingdom has been preached, there has come the light of the
knowledge of forgiveness, peace and joy, not only in this life but eternity
to come.
NOW God has a plan for the ingathering of
Israel to the Land for this THIRD time. We are going to see an event take
place which will begin in the Land and will blanket the earth in glory. (Hab.
2:14) When the Children of Israel come home, God always does something to
bless ALL THE NATIONS. What a privilege to live in this day!
WHO Did the
Choosing?
Some say, “Remember Abram’s name was changed
to Abraham which means the father of many. Arabs are also the seed of
Abraham, so this could be the land of the Arabs as well as the Jews.”
Evidently, Abraham thought so too, for he prayed, “O that Ishmael might
live before You!” But “God said, Sarah your wife shall bear you a
son… and I will establish My Covenant with him for an EVERLASTING Covenant,
and with HIS SEED after him. AND as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I
HAVE BLESSED HIM and will make him fruitful and will multiply him
EXCEEDINGLY; twelve princes shall he beget and I will make him a GREAT
NATION” (Gen. 17:18-20). In fact these 12 “princes” stretch across North
Africa and into Asia. These Arab nations have become the 12 wealthiest
oil-producing nations in the world. They dominate and control the oil market
of the world. By and large this Arab oil cartel sets the gasoline prices at
our pumps in the U.S. Their territory covers over 4,560,000 square miles,
while tiny Israel has 7,992 square miles.
“I will perform the oath which I swore unto
Abraham your father,” God told
Isaac, “And I will make your seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and
will give unto your seed all these countries.” For what reason? “that in
your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed” (Gen. 26:3,4).
Yet the United Nations seek Israel’s destruction and many times would have
voted Israel out of the UN but for the US veto. In light of the eternal Word
of God, any anti-Israel action is anti-God.
The only time the Kingdom
of Israel came close to the Biblical promise of reaching the Euphrates River
was during the Kingdoms of David and Solomon. Even then, it only reached the
northeast area of the Euphrates. Who will draw the next map of Israel?
Expansionists?
Enemies of Israel’s people ignorantly call
them “expansionists”. Israelis do not WANT more land, but have given up land
time and again, piece for peace. But the “pieces” didn’t come together as
“peace”. Knowledgeable believers know from God’s Word the Land of Israel is
theirs by Divine appointment and they are not free to reject that
responsibility. But international pressure is put on Israel constantly
and she falsely is castigated as usurping and occupying Arab
territories and accused of robbing them of their rights. She
has to sit and listen to charges of aggression as if she does not own
the Land and as though she has no right to be there!
Israel is not asking for all the territory
promised her in the Bible, but she will have it. God who calls Himself
“the Strength of Israel will not lie” – change his mind (1 Sam.
15:29).
